The newly remodeled room was extremely spacious and included a microwave and mini fridge. the complimentary breakfast had a good variety of meals. the location was convenient, within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. the Anne Spencer House was just 1 mile away. We stayed for one night and didn't want to leave.

We were vendors at the Wine & Garlic Festival in Amherst and finally found a reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable place to stay for two nights. The new decor gave the hotel a fresh and modern feel, and everything looked brand new! The beds were comfortable, the towels were a nice size, and the USB outlets were convenient. I especially appreciated that they left three full-sized towels in the bathroom for two people, as I usually have to request an extra. The location was great and the breakfast, although simple, was a nice touch with a bag containing granola and a cookie.

econo lodge lynchburg south surpassed my expectations! clean rooms, well-kept grounds, lots of power outlets, good shower pressure, and convenient amenities like a microwave and fridge. i even found 3 full-sized towels in the bathroom. definitely recommend and would stay here again!
